What affects the cost?
Several factors can influence the final price of your job:
- Number of circuits (poles) required
- Condition of incoming mains cable (consumer mains)
- Need for asbestos panel removal
- Relocation of meter box if required

- Installation of new enclosure and RCBO safety switches
- Testing and commissioning certificate

Usually Excluded
- Mains cable upgrade (if deemed undersized)
- Repairs to existing faulty wiring in the house
- Plaster or paint touch-ups around the new box
Important Note
If your house was built before 2000, you likely have a 'Federal' or 'Nilsen' fuse box which are known fire hazards. Upgrade immediately.
